In addition to filing your federal tax return, international students and scholars who are non-residents for tax purposes may use Sprintax to complete their state tax return. Sprintax charges a small fee to prepare your state tax returns, but if you want to file your form by hand, and have questions, you can sign up for a 15-minute one-on-one appointment with the Office of the Controller to answer any questions about your Georgia tax forms.

Before you set up an appointment, complete the federal tax Form 1040NR-EZ or Form 1040NR and fill out your Georgia state tax forms as completely as possible.
